Friday night we popped into the local Waitrose, and they had some steaks on offer, well two steaks one at 82p and the other at 90p. Yes you did read that right! So naturally we brought them, and last night I cooked them in the Tandoor Cajun style. Expect a video on this soon, and here is a picture of the 90p steak, and is was awesome.
Here are a couple of tips I got from Jerry:
I created a cooking rack from a cake rack, with a pair of pliers. You need to leave a gap to add charcoal & room to clean out the bottom with a long thin wire brush.
BBQ gloves are £20 in the stores BUT for £3.99 you can buy welder’s glove from Screwfix.

I have made this a few times, but with just figs and goat's cheese. I have positive feedback about it, but personally it just felt like something was missing. Then the other week we were at friends for dinner and she made the most amazing baklava with walnuts. It was then I suddenly realised my missing ingredient was walnuts.
